Would you know how to change a tire if you got a flat?
Would you know how to use a gun if you had to?
Would you know how to set up a tent if you went camping?
Would you know how to filet a fish if you had to?
Would you know how to build a fire if you needed to?
Would you know how to prime the lawn mower if you had to mow the lawn by yourself?
Would you know how to use a pressure gauge if you needed to check your tire pressure?
Would you know how to cut down a tree if you needed to?
Would you know how to survive if you were stranded in the desert?
Would you know how to find the airport if you had to do it by yourself?
Don’t you want to sit on a chair?
No, I’m good. I sit in a chair all day long.
Sitting on the floor actually feels nice.
Okay, as long as you’re comfortable.
Would you like a pillow to sit on at least?
Oh, yeah. That’d be nice. Thanks.
Hey, I’m so sorry for canceling the other day. I just could not get out of bed.
That’s okay. Are you feeling better now?
Yeah, I’m doing much better, thank goodness.
And I’m glad we could make lunch up.
I had something I wanted to talk to you about.
Ugh, my refrigerator isn’t working again. I just bought it too.
That’s a bummer. What are you going to do?
Probably try and find someone to repair it, depending on how much it would cost.
You know, I have a friend who used to work in appliances, and he’s kind of a jack of all trades anyway. I bet he could fix it for you.
Oh, if he could take a look at it at least, that would be amazing.
Sure, I’ll call him up and see when he has time.
Thank you so much!
Oh man, I can hardly keep my eyes open.
Why are you so tired?
We went to the Beyonce concert in Chicago last night.
We didn’t get home until four in the morning, and then I had to get up at six.
Ouch. That’s rough.
Yeah, but it was totally worth it.
Hey! How are you?
Great. We just got back from a weekend up in Duluth.
Nice! We spent the weekend at the lake.
The weather was just gorgeous.
Oh, that sounds great.
I was going to say, you look like you got some sun.
Yeah, we were outside almost all weekend.
So, what happened at your dentist appointment?
They couldn’t do anything.
My insurance changed and they don’t accept my new insurance.
And they wouldn’t even just let me pay for it out-of-pocket.
So what do you have to do now?
I have to find out which dentists accept my insurance and go there.
It’s just such a hassle.
I already had an appointment at my dentist, and now I have to find a new dentist and make a new appointment and everything.
We could’ve gone swimming, but we didn’t have our swimsuits with us.
He could’ve tried calling our cell phones.
They could’ve stayed longer, but they wanted to get home.
She could’ve given me a bigger scoop of ice cream.
They could’ve taken the interstate. It would’ve been faster.
They might’ve stopped by while we were out.
I might’ve left my wallet at home.
He might’ve left already. We better call him and see.
I can’t find my phone. I might’ve left it in my jacket.
Do you still have that old camera of yours? I don’t know. I might’ve thrown it away.
Ahh, we’ve had such nice weather this whole trip.
It’s just gorgeous.
I know, right.
And at this time of year, too.
We’ve been really lucky.
Yeah, hopefully it stays nice for our hike tomorrow though.
It’d be kind of miserable if it rained.
Yeah, knock on wood.
Otherwise we might have to do the hike a different day.
So, Kate and I have been talking about taking a road trip out to the west coast this summer.
We’d probably plan it for about two or three weeks.
Would you want to come too?
Oh my God, I would go in a heartbeat, but I just registered for a study abroad course in Thailand for the summer!
That would be so much fun...
Yeah, but Thailand will be amazing, and we can always go on another road trip once you get back.
